Previously, she served as a Senior Investment Officer at the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Dominance Financing, where she led innovative energy transition projects spanning carbon management, industrial decarbonization, and biofuels. Throughout her career, Cynthia has held distinguished leadership roles across the investment management industry, including Managing Director at Washington Square Investment Management and Director at MetLife Investments, where she oversaw significant investment portfolios. Her broad financial expertise spans credit underwriting, loan structuring, and impact investing across both public and private sectors. Cynthia is equally committed to advancing knowledge in her field. She has shared her expertise as an Adjunct Professor of Economics at Pepperdine University and holds an MBA from the University of Southern California.
