Perhaps it's my DNA, but even more, I think it was the imprint of election campaigns on my life, that began for me as early as four or five years old when people would come to the house on election days and make phone calls along with my family. All that energy and excitment - win or loss- stayed with me permanently. Much of my adult life has been in the same pursuit. It sometimes feels like a 24/7 cycle of thoughts and actions concerned with electoral politics and campaign issues. And I love it. Everyday convinces me further that my goal to see the election of our First Woman President is going to happen in my lifetime. My twelve years with the Women's Campaign School at Yale University gave me the opportunity to meet some of the smartest and the most savvy women from across the United States who will make a positive impact on electoral/campaign politics in the U.S. I'm convinced women like these are part of the critical mass of smart savvy women who are going to make the election of our First Woman President a reality. I hope FWP readers share this same goal.
