It uses a specific ~700 nanometer frequency of light that illuminates veins invisible to the naked eye, when the easy specific directions are followed. In 2015, Matthew Morin founded Easy-RN, LLC and launched Illumivein—a powerful, handheld vein finder designed to put effective technology directly into the hands of healthcare professionals and the patients they care for.
