J 101 III - BS BAA 1. My favorite book is Smaller and Smaller Circles (by F.H. Batacan) because it depicts the social and wide-range problems that we're currently facing as a society now. Despite the book being published decades ago, the stories of bizarre killings echo until this day. 2. Hidden Figures (Ted Melfi) - it gives us the story of three colored women who proved to the NASA, and eventually, to the American people that people deserve equal treatment, regardless of age, color, or sexuality. 3. Jessica Soho (GMA) - her storytelling and reporting skills never fail to amaze me; it inspires me to write more and more, and eventually go to the field of journalism 4. The One (Kodaline) - because it gives us an impression that despite all disagreements and problems, love should still remain in the end 5. Vox (Vox.com) - explanatory journalism website that explains concepts, things, and events and simplifies complex ideas for public consumption and opinion-making 6. Sisig - because it's basically the definition of Filipino food: surprising, tantalizing, and delicious
