Hi, My name is Gabrielle Mayfair and I will be posting weekly thoughts of why life sucks but I still love it! I am on a crossroad of jobs and torn between my love for art and life-long desire to be entrepreneur (greeting card business) and the reality that my family needs security, which only comes with steady job. I come from cut-throat industry (fashion buying) where if you are not ruthless you won't survive, so I have cut my teeth for survival in the best possible way. However, I am constantly seeking this magical balance of family life and job satisfaction, which I believe only happens when you drink the magic mix of 'do what is closest to your heart'...and that is how I enter the vicious circle of never finding it....
