I served in Charlie Troop 1st of the 9th Cavalry in Vietnam from April 68 to April of 69 as an infantryman. While assigned to Charlie Troop I was awarded: a Soldier"s Medal, Purple Heart, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal with a "V" device for Valor and a Combat Infantryman"s Badge. I have been married since 1970 and have one son. I was and Always will be a Proud member of Charlie Troop 1/9 Cav Blues.
