He first started singing in the late 1980s and always loved rock 'n' roll, blues and country music. Patrick released his first CD in 2007 and followed it up with another in 2008 and another in 2009. His newest CD (No. 4) is now just released (2010) - Patrick has supports the Waterford Hospice, Chernobyl Children's project and Haiti earthquake relief with these CDs. On these CDs, there is a mix of blues and country and some songs are the Moon Mullican classic "Lay me down beside my darling", a Jerry Lee Lewis inspired "Jealous heart" and the bluegrass standard "The leaves mustn't fall". As well as music, Patrick also was interested in an academic career and obtained a BSc, MSc, and Higher Diploma from WIT and an MBS from UCC. He has lectured in various colleges and VECs.
