I moved from a town in the west country to London in July 2011 & after three months of “settling in”, in late September 2011 I felt it was high time to get involved in the London dating scene. The stories and situations that follow are actual accounts of my experiences of what occurred during these dates (and in life in general), in some instances I have changed locations and finer details to protect identities. My friends would gain much amusement from my date stories and suggested I write a book, so I thought i would begin with this…. Whenever myself or my friends would have dating disasters, my two common responses are: “No good will come of this” (I borrowed this from a good friend of mine) Or “I blame it on Disney“ Disney has given us unrealistic expectations of men & love, raised standards where they are almost impossible to meet and as we search for our prince charming, all we seem to find is flakey morons.
